Cookfinder and its licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. In case if you find any data which is copyrighted or you think is in appropriate we would immediately take action and remove the same from our website.

- Reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on this website for a commercial purpose

Access to certain areas of this website is restricted.Cookfinder reserves the right to restrict access to other areas of this website, or indeed this entire website, at Cookfinder’s discretion.

Cookfinder may disable your user ID and password in Cookfinder’s sole discretion without notice or explanation.

For Hiring a Cook Terms and Conditions
Payment and Charges
Rates for Hiring a Cook depends strictly upon head countand kind of cuisine one is opting. Our rates also depends upon location & the date of the event .In case you are expecting more number of guests, then you need to inform Cookfinder Co coordinator 48 hours before the event. Rates for providing a Cook will change accordingly. We would like to remind you that Cook / Chef Rates vary from person to person based on their qualification and experience. On festival days and other bank holidaysthe rates for Hiring a Cookare higher. Any other extra services such as Waiters, Bar Tenders, Dish washers etc are charged separately.
Cookfinder quotes the rates to its clients only after closely scrutinizing all the requirementsof the client and Cook charges. The rates once quoted by Cookfinder are final and cannot be changed. On repeat orders we provide some discounts which can be availed on the much said transactions only. We do not offer facilities like Cash on Delivery. We request you not to pay anything to our Cooks.
Refund/ Cancellation Rules
Once you have finalized the Date and Cook/ Chef has been booked then there shall be no refunds whatsoever.
Don’t forget, Cooks are human too! If due to some reason our Cooks are not able to reach your venue, Cookfinder will immediately seek for a new replacement. Cookfinder’s Co Coordinator will confirm the same to you. But if due to unavoidable circumstances such as illness we are unable to provide you a Cook then we shall organize for 100 % refund within 12 working days from the event date.
Order Ingredients
We provide cooks for cooking purpose only. We expect that before calling a Cook at your home all ingredients are ready. If you want our cooks to carry some ingredients with them then you need to contact Cookfinder Co Coordinator and confirm the same 48 hours before the event. You shall be charged separately for the Ingredients you order. The Rates for ingredients you order will be based strictly on market price.
General Terms and Conditions
Cookfinder are not employers and carry out business as agents only for the purposes of effecting and introduction between persons desiring to enter into a contract for services.
Cookfinder endeavors to obtain suitable references in respect of the cooks we send to you butwe strongly recommend making your own enquiries if needed. While Cookfinder makes efforts to enquire into the background and history of cooks introduced they are not liable for any information or representation concerning the cooks and neither do they give or accept responsibility for any warranty concerning the history, character, age, intentions, capability or suitability of cooks introduced.
Cookfinder are not liable for loss or expense howsoever the same may be caused by our cooks introduced whether or not an engagement ensues.
Catering Terms and Conditions
Guaranteed Guest Count.
You must submit the guaranteed number of guests (the “guest count”) for your Event to Cookfinder’s Catering Coordinator no later than 72 hours prior to the Event. If the actual number of your guests at the time of the Event is larger than the guest count, you will be charged for the additional guests in attendance at the per guest rate stated in the Proposal. Cookfinder will not discount or reduce the contract price if the actual number of your guests at the time of the Event is less than the guest count you submit to Cookfinder.
Payments and Deposits.
You must pay Cookfinder a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the total contract price stated in the Proposal at least 60 days prior to the Event Date. Your failure to pay the deposit on time shall render this Catering Contract null and void.
Cookfinder accepts payments made by Credit/Debit Card, NEFT, Cheque or Money Order. You must pay Cookfinder the balance due no later than 10 days prior to the Event Date. Your failure to pay the balance due on time shall be considered a cancellation of this Catering Contract. Any Event booked less than 10 days from the Event Date must be paid in full at the time of booking. The Catering Coordinator will assist with any Customer request to establish a corporate billing account. No different payment terms apply unless otherwise agreed in writing signed by Cookfinder’s authorized representative.
Cancellations and Refunds.
If you give Cookfinder a written notice of cancellation of this Catering Contract more than 60 days prior to the Event Date, Cookfinder will agree to cancel this Catering Contract at no charge, and will refund any deposit paid. If you do not give Cookfinder a written notice of cancellation more than 60 days prior to your Event, you acknowledge that Cookfinder will suffer damages (such as the lost opportunity to book other events on the date of your Event, purchase of food and supplies, expenses of the services of Cookfinder’s staff, etc.), and that the amount of actual damages caused by the late cancellation of this Catering Contract would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to quantify. For the late cancellation of this Catering Contract (60 days or less prior to your Event), Cookfinder will retain the deposit as liquidated damages. In the event that you cancel this Catering Contract within 10 days of the Event Date, for whatever reason or cause (including without limitation Acts of God, weather, cancellation by location, etc.), you will remain obligated to pay the entire contract price, less the Event Fee, as liquidated damages to Cookfinder’s. You agree that these liquidated damages represent a fair and reasonable estimate of the losses and expenses Cookfinder would sustain as a result of late cancellation of this Catering Contract, given that actual damages are uncertain and not susceptible of exact measurement as of the date of this Catering Contract. Refunds on any accrued cost that falls under the event coordination services and rentals will be determined at time of cancellation.
Menu Cost
All menu prices are subject to change based on market prices of food ingredients. If there is a significant increase in any market price, Cookfinder’s will notify you of the contract price increase. If you do not agree to the new price, Cookfinder will propose substitute menu items to you in order for you to maintain the agreed upon menu price. If you do not agree to the proposed substitution, then Cookfinder may cancel this Catering Contract without further obligation and refund all monies paid.
Taxes
In addition to the contract price, you will be charged and responsible to pay all applicable state and local taxes. If you are a tax exempt company, you must submit the tax exempt certificate to Cookfinder’s no later than 10 days prior to the Event Date.
Rentals and Event Coordination Services.
Cookfinder’s Catering Coordinator can manage all of your event needs, including event coordination for weddings and corporate events, staffing, and providing tables, chairs, linens, china and floral arrangements. Rentals and Event Coordination Services are charged in addition to catering services. Contact Cookfinder’s Catering Coordinator for more information and pricing.
Food Policy.
For Events, Cookfinder disposes of uneaten food and beverage items remaining upon the completion of each Event. If you or any of your guests request to take any of the remaining uneaten food items, Cookfinder requires that any person removing food from an event sign a food release form. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Cookfinder and its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents and independent contractors harmless from any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including personal injury, wrongful death, and attorney’s fees) arising from or related to the post-Event consumption of leftover catered food and beverage items.
Event Timeline and Staffing.
Each Event is unique and will require a different timeline, so we understand that there will be specific requirements discussed at the time of your booking. Event staffing is variable and will be determined at the time of booking (based on the guest count and Event Type). The Catering Coordinator will inform you of the staffing planned for your Event. Cookfinder’s pricing includes 2 hours for onsite, pre-Event set up, 3 hours for Event duration, and 2 hours for post-Event breakdown/cleanup. If your Event exceeds 3 hours in duration, additional staff time will be charged as a fee, in addition to the contract price,
Damage and Liability.
Cookfinder maintains general liability for the services it provides. You understand that Cookfinder shall not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any items provided, rented or furnished by you unless such loss or damage was caused solely by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Cookfinder. In any event, Cookfinder’sliability for any claims arising under this Catering Contract (including, without limitation, Cookfinder’s failure to provide the services, is limited to the contract price amount paid by you. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold Cookfinder’s and its affiliates and their respective employees, representatives, agents and independent contractors harmless from any claims, injuries, losses or damages (including personal injury, wrongful death, and attorney’s fees) arising from or related to the Event, unless such loss or damage was caused solely by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Cookfinder’s.
Collections
Any amounts remaining unpaid after the Event shall be overdue and accrue interest at a rate of 1.9% per month unless otherwise agreed in writing by Cookfinder’s. In the event that Cookfinder’s takes any action (whether or not litigation is instituted) to collect unpaid amounts due to Cookfinder’s you agree to pay the reasonable costs of collection (including court costs and attorney’s fees).
